General description

During operation, the protective glass of the lamp is exposed to various aggressive environments, which leads to reduced transparency and therefore decreased luminous output.

The hydrogel film is used to protect against:

• scratches (shadow lines on the wall)
• plaster adhesion (uneven light distribution)
• paint particle adhesion (uneven light distribution)
• solvent exposure (uneven lighting and possible clouding of the protective glass)
