TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION – SEMIN CE-78 PERFECT LIGHT

SEMIN CE-78 Perfect Light is a lightweight, ready-to-use joint compound designed for drywall joint treatment using reinforcing tape. It provides high productivity and excellent finishing quality with reduced material weight.

Technical Characteristics

• Consumption: approx. 350 g/m² (≈ 500 g/m² for standard compound)
• Drying time: recoating after 24–48 hours
• Tape adhesion: > 1000 g
• No voids up to 5 mm depth
• Density: 1.2

Composition

Resins, water, calcium carbonate, lightweight fillers, preservatives, and additives.

Substrates

• All types of drywall (with or without insulation: mineral wool, polystyrene, etc.)

Application

Before jointing:

• Fill any gaps between boards
• Repair defects (chips, damages, etc.)

Process:

1. Apply compound with a 10–15 cm knife
2. Embed reinforcing tape
3. Apply leveling coat
4. After drying, apply finishing coat
5. Cover screw heads

Suitable for mechanical application (bazooka, airless systems).

Application Conditions

• Temperature: +5°C to +35°C
• Do not apply on wet or frozen substrates.
